When we buy your caravan we do our utmost to make the process as hassle free and straightforward as possible for you. From the point that you contact us to the day the caravan is collected, our team works hard for you.

In case you wondered how things work behind the scenes at static caravan traders, then read on. When you contact us via our website we aim to give you a call back either the same day or at the latest the next day. One of our highly experienced buyers will ring you and find out all the details we need to make an accurate valuation of your static caravan. Our team are all chosen for their great manner with people, and we train them to be polite, courteous and helpful.

Talking to us about selling your beloved holiday home can be difficult – and we are aware of that. We have gone through the buying process with hundreds and hundreds of owners, so there aren’t many stories we haven’t heard before. You may be forced to sell your static caravan due to ill health, bereavement, divorce or redundancy – we know that these are difficult times in a person’s life, so rest assured we won’t pressure you and we certainly won’t judge you.

After our initial conversation to get more details and give you a valuation, we will arrange to come and view the caravan at a time that is convenient to you. It is best if you can be there for the viewing but if you can’t then we can do the viewing without you. This viewing is just our check to make sure everything is as you told us with the caravan and also we find meeting face to face is just a nicer and better way of doing business.

At this viewing we will also ask you to complete our purchase paperwork and we will also arrange to make payment, either by cheque or straight into your bank account via the internet banking system. Our paperwork is a straightforward form with all your contact details and the details of the van, its plot number and the Park address.

At this meeting we also advise what you need to do to set in motion the process of leaving the Park. All Parks require owners to complete a leaving form and also to settle their account and pay a de-site fee before they will release the caravan to us. This will be written in your original paperwork from the Park when you first bought your caravan. There is usually a standard charge for dis-connecting and de-siting your caravan but this can vary from  a couple of hundred pounds to nearly a thousand pounds depending on the Park. We usually advise owners to call or pop in to the Park office at the next opportunity.

We will also discuss with you when you will be vacating your caravan and removing all your personal belongings.

After the viewing we are always available on the end of the telephone if you have any questions, and we will be in touch to make sure your dealings with the Park have gone well.

With most of our caravan purchases that will be the last you have to do. We will organise de-siting dates and collection with the Park and our preferred transport companies.
