Christmas in your static caravan?

As we get ready to open the first doors on our advent calendars, where would you spend Christmas if you had the choice?

Some Parks stay open all through December allowing their owners to deck the halls and celebrate in their caravans. Getting together with loved ones in your home away from home can be a lovely way to spend  Christmas and means you can do all the usual eating, drinking and TV watching, but also get out and have a walk along the beach or in the countryside to blow the cobwebs away. Having the chance to get outside can help prevent tempers flaring as families are cooped up together for much longer than usual.

However, many Parks are closed over the Christmas and New Year period so owners don’t have the option to spend the festive period in their static caravans. It may seem strange to have a holiday home that you cannot use but for many Parks the costs of staying open with full staff and facilities would make fees very expensive. So if you can’t be at your static caravan, where do you choose to celebrate?

Most people either stay home or visit family for Christmas, while others like to head away to either a country retreat or to get some winter sunshine abroad. Or there is even the option of skiing somewhere even colder than home!

If you want to release the equity in your caravan, it’s not too late to get a valuation on your static caravan. We can come and have a look at your caravan and get the money to you straightaway, so you can pop down to the travel agents and book your dream Christmas getaway.

Static caravan traders like us keep buying caravans all over the festive period, so if you decide you want to sell don’t wait until 2016, put down your mince pies and get in touch now.
